About Me
Hello there. I'm Katrina Hutchingame (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist with experience in guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing and balance.
Approaching therapy from a trauma-informed perspective, I specialize in addressing a wide range of issues within a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, substance use/addiction, eating disorders/disordered eating, sexual issues, betrayal, mood fluctuations, or emotional dysregulation, I am here to support you every step of the way.
At Bridge to Balance, I believe in the power of therapy founded on trust, understanding, and a little bit of lightheartedness. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and an Associate member of the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
It's important to consider the lighter side as well. I enjoy incorporating playfulness and creativity into our sessions. Life can present challenges, so why not approach your journey with a sense of joy? Together, we'll find laughter, learning, and inspiration amidst your obstacles.
I value and honour your unique experiences, perspectives, and strengths. Together, we'll navigate the complexities of your life story, uncovering hidden treasures along the way. I wholeheartedly believe in your goodness, resilience, and the remarkable potential for growth that resides within you.
